Senate Reviews 2007/2008 Academic Session Calendar

The University Senate at its meeting of Wednessday, March 26, 2008 reviewed the Calendar for the First Semester of the 2007/2008 Academic Session. One of the highligths of the revised calendar is the Matriculation Ceremiony for fresh students, which has been fixed for Wednessday, April 9, 2008.

The Cuban Ambassador of Nigeria, His Excellency Mr. Elio Savon was in the University last Friday 11th April, 2008 on a courtesy call. AAUA Matriculates 3,500 Fresh Students
A total of Three thousand and five hundred (3,500) out of the over twelve thousand candidates that applied to the four Faculties of the University were matriculated last Wednesday 9th April, 2008.

VC Charges the University Community to Embrace Information Technology

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Philip Olayele Abiodun has said there is no going back on the on-line registration presently embarked upon by the University. He stressed the need for both staff and students to embrace the system in the University. The University, he said, would not relent in its efforts at being ICT compliant at all times.
